Apollo Net was founded in the Triangle of North Carolina to fill a much-needed gap: affordable broadband for everyone who needs it.
We don't offer tons of plans or impose artificial speed limits. Instead, we offer one simple, reliable plan that delivers exactly what it promises: fast speeds at a low cost – a cost that will never increase. Common Tech Questions
Yes, the Apollo Net Homespot is an all-in-one cellular and wifi router that is easy to self-install. Simply connect it to its power supply and plug it in. The network ID and password are on the bottom of the router. No installation appointment needed.
Place your router near a window with a clear view outside, away from direct sunlight. Avoid basements, closets, or areas with thick walls. Keep away from metal objects and electronics that may cause interference.
The router may download the latest software when first connected, which can take up to 30 minutes. After the update, it will restart automatically and you can connect using the Wi-Fi password on the bottom of the router.
Move your router near a window, temporarily disconnect unused devices, pause large downloads, and restart your router by unplugging for 30 seconds. If speeds remain slow, contact us at help@apollonet.org or call (984) 250-0081.
Common Billing Questions
Equipment is free to use and after 12 months of service, it's entirely yours. If you cancel before one year, please return your equipment. Unreturned equipment incurs a $100 fee.
Cancel at any time without long-term contract penalties. Contact us at least 24 hours before your next billing cycle. Service continues until the end of your current billing period.
You are automatically enrolled in autopay. AutoPay can be linked to your debit card or credit card. You'll receive an email notification before each payment is processed.
Monthly Prepaid: Pay month-to-month, cancel anytime. 12-Month Prepaid: Pay upfront at a discounted rate (non-refundable). Both options don't require credit checks.
Other Common Questions
If you or any household member is a student or enrolled in an educational program, you qualify. Income-based: household income at 200% or lower of the Federal Poverty Limit (~$64K/year for a family of 4). Participants in SNAP, EBT, Medicaid, SSI, or public housing also qualify. Only self-certification is required.
Your router is optimized for your registered address. Contact us before relocating so we can check coverage at your new location.
